Furniture In addition to my artwork, I also design and build custom, heirloom quality furniture. I have been making furniture professionally since 1995. I use primarily domestic hardwood and, when possible, am committed to using salvaged wood for my pieces. The design process for all my one-o- a-kind pieces is in response to initial meetings with the client. This results in pieces that are a combination of the cients desires and my design aesthetic. My custom designs are inspired by traditional Japanese and Chinese furniture. I utilize clean lines, natural wood colors, and rhythmic repetition of design elements. 2003
