April 10-11, 2026: I will be participating in the first Vermont Art Book Fair at Karma House in Burlington, VT. I will be shwoing and selling some of my own work alongside students and alumni from the Saint Michael's College Art & Design program.
April 19, 2026: I will be a presenter at the Northeast Natural History Conference in Burlington, VT. I will be giving a presentation about projects created by my Art & Ecology class to raise envrionmental awareness and improve the ecological sustainability of the Saint Michael's College campus.
November 2025: After a fantastic month as artist in residence for the ARCA program in Fontecchio, Italy, I have created a website for the project I did with the community there, "Our Personal Nature" Please visit the site for more information. It is available in both English and Italian.
October 2025: I will be Artist in Residence for the month of October in Fontecchio, Italy in the Abruzzo region as part of ARCA – Art. Regenerations. Community. Living. I am being sponsored by The Current-Center for Contemporary Art. There are a number of partner organizations including MAXXI L'Aquila, The National Museum of L'Aquila and The University of L'Aquila.
September 2025: I have been awarded a Vermont Arts Council Creation Grant to help fund my new interdisciplinary art & ecology project "Essential Strangers"
Writing about my project, "Roadkill Shrines" was included in the book The Urban Naturalist: How to Make the City Your Scientific Playgroundfrom MIT Press, April 2025
Fall 2025: I have been awarded a sabbatical for fall 2025 to pursue a major new project about our native bees. I started the project by spending a week photographing specimens at the American Museum of Natural History in NYC. Stay tuned for updates.
October 2024: A solo exhibition at Idaho State University. "Unlawning America, History and Future." Exhibited works included Unlawning America, Monarch Release, The Highway Expedition and The SRNE Habitat Acquisition Program.
June 2024: Collier gave a presentation about the Unlawning America project at Pecha Kucha Burlington Vermont at the Flynn Space, Burlington.
Spring, 2024: Collier and his Art & Ecology students created a permanent pollinator spiral garden on the campus of Saint Michael's College.
Spring 2024: Collier and his Art & Ecology students collaborated with Biology, Environmental Studies, and Center for The Environment staff and faculty to increase the amount of no-mow pollinator habitat on campus.
